Gregg 'Cadillac Kid' Weaver- Torrance 1977 Nick Drake I am sitting here at 'Ridiculous'. Its very quiet. The only sound is the smooth voice of long- gone Nick Drake. He sings 'Riverman' & pulls me deep into a mood that I may have trouble extricating myself from. He died all too soon. The world barely learned he was here,  before he took his own life. He sold less than 4000 records before he died. Strange. I understand his lack of a desire to live. Life is hard & painful. He opted out. I hope he can see the influence that his music instilled in so many. Gregg Weaver was one of skateboardings early 'superstars.'
