“A true photograph need not be explained, nor can it be contained in words.” - Ansel Adams
Skateboarding. Photography. Symbiotic relationships. You almost need one to have the other in this age of professional skateboarding & media madness. Skateboarding photographs. Without them, the paper media would cease to exist. The 4G and Pentium prisons that we all live in wouldn’t be the same either. I regularly wonder where this is all going to go. I -personally-feel as though it is all going to go digital… but I’ve been wrong before. History has proven that as humans make technological progress, rarely do they go back. In this day and age of immediacy and urgent impulses, people have grown accustomed to having everything right now. Waiting is not an option. There can be no other way. Saturday evening, I went to this gallery show in Laguna with Jeff Grosso and Ray Zimmerman. I looked at the incredible images. I walked slowly through the room. I waxed maudlin. I wondered if I was seeing something for the last time…. I hope not. Thanks to MRZ for the images. Skate- Ozzie
