There is a dark depression overwhelming me at times. Around us, the world burns & people live in a vacuum. They have their noses buried in their cell phones, texting, texting, texting. They buy homes & cars they cannot afford. They go broke appearing rich. The women seem entitled & the men cower before them. ‘Retrouve lelan joi de vivre’. We must find again, our joy in life. Just like Adam 12 & Brendan Klein in the enclosed photographs, I will be riding my skateboard this weekend, content in the knowledge of what I am. Nothing.
